Andrew is a guitarist and teacher originally raised in Alexandria, Virginia. Andrew has amassed over twelve years of experience as a guitar player gigging in and around the Northern VA area. He spent five years playing banjo and guitar with Dave Robinson's Capital Focus jazz band and currently plays guitar and bass for the “Not-So-Modern” New Orleans Jazz Band. He studied under saxophonist John Kocur and guitarist Ken Hall at Northern Virginia Community College where he developed his love for jazz and has spent the last few years learning about every explorable niche the genre has to offer.
